The room was clean and spacious, and the shuttle to the casino was a nice convenience. Our bathroom needed better maintenance, and there was no fridge in the room. Great bowling nearby kept us entertained during our stay.

I stayed in a rundown room that felt unsafe and unwelcoming. There were dead bugs in the bathroom, the carpet was filthy, and the A/C kept me up all night.

Shuttle service to the casino is convenient, especially for families. Cleanliness could be improved; found some bugs in the bathroom. Kids enjoyed the pool, but the check-in process at the casino was confusing.

Clean room. Solid air conditioning, which was vital in the sweltering heat. But there were significant shortcomings. No refrigerator is a glaring oversight in this desert climate—absolutely essential. Disappointingly, I discovered dead bugs between the sheets. The check-in process was frustrating; had to trek miles in the intense heat. As a chronic asthmatic, that was problematic. The mattress was uncomfortable. Springs poked at me throughout the night. The minuscule pool needed attention. If you're seeking a budget option with tolerable amenities, this might fit the bill. For me, however, it simply didn’t meet the standard I expect. Not returning.

The experience of seeing the northern lights was unforgettable. The front desk staff was super helpful, and the free shuttle made it easy to get around.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but you get what you pay for.

The room offered a large space and a nice balcony, perfect for star gazing. the mattress was uncomfortable, with noticeable springs on one of the queen beds. The bathroom showed signs of wear, with a frayed door and a non-functioning bathtub stopper, limiting showers only. Cleanliness was a major concern; stained curtains and dust throughout the room made it feel uninviting. Noise from slamming doors occasionally disrupted the otherwise quiet environment. A/C struggled to maintain comfort. The absence of staff at the lodge made addressing issues frustrating, and some amenities like a fridge and microwave were requested but came with unpleasant odors.

Just a decent option for a date night in Camp Verde with fantastic value. The air conditioning worked well.

While our initial stay at the Lodge was disappointing due to outdated rooms and cleanliness issues, the friendly staff were accommodating and promptly upgraded us to a hotel room that was comfortable. The convenient kid-friendly amenities like Kid Quest added fun for the children during our visit.

So, me and my family recently stayed at The Lodge at Cliff Castle Casino. the check, in process was a bit confusing as we had to go to the main casino hotel to check in, which was a hassle after a long drive. The lighting in the walkways and stairwells was pretty dim, which could be dangerous for some guests. On the bright side, the hot water pressure was great and the TV channel selection was impressive. But our room had some issues , stains on the carpet, holes in the walls, and it didn't feel well, maintained. Plus, finding out that the Lodge wasn't as nice as the main building was a bit disappointing. We also encountered some cleanliness issues , mold, dust, bugs, and stained sheets. It wasn't a pleasant sight to see, and the lack of breakfast service was a letdown. The pool area was also in need of better maintenance, with debris floating around. the staff were patient and kind, but the property itself left much to be desired. It's a shame that the experience didn't live up to our expectations, especially considering the price we paid. Hopefully, the Lodge will undergo some renovations soon to provide a more comfortable stay.

Had a cozy room close to the city center, making it easy to explore local attractions on foot. Enjoyed the personalized service from the friendly staff and the beautiful views of the surrounding area from the room. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment for a city break.
The noise levels from neighboring rooms or staff activities were disruptive, affecting sleep quality. The distance from the main entertainment and dining areas required driving back and forth, which was inconvenient.

The location of the hotel was convenient, with a free shuttle service to the nearby casino. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, making my stay comfortable. Additionally, the shuttle service provided easy access to the casino without the hassle of driving.
Checking, in at the separate location from the hotel was confusing and inconvenient. The room keys did not work initially, and the room had a noticeable smell of pets and cigarettes.

The room felt rundown and dirty, with stained carpets and a mattress that was unbearable. Communication was a disaster, leading to confusion about our accommodations, and I was disappointed to find out I couldn't use the main hotel facilities. No Wi-Fi for eight days and cleanliness issues made things worse. On the flip side, the staff was friendly and responsive when I needed a fridge for my medicine. The casino itself was enjoyable, but I would’ve been better off staying somewhere cleaner and less frustrating. Bring your own mattress topper if you decide to try this place!

From burgers to fine dining at Storytellers, there's something for every craving. I had a blast bowling and relaxing by the pool. The slot machines were calling my name—with big rewards!
Couldn't find a single green man to play with in the casino.

I had an absolute blast with my kids at the casino! Kid Quest kept them entertained while I enjoyed some relaxation. The cozy lodge was super quiet, and the bed felt like a cloud after a day of fun!

The casino staff are amazing and keep the good vibes flowing. The food options are decent and the bartenders make a mean cocktail.
The room looked like it hadn't been updated since the '90s.

The hotel is just a short distance from Montezuma Castle National Monument, Beaver Creek, and the World's Largest Kokopelli, making it easy to explore the amazing local sights during my stay, plus there are several dining choices like Johnny Rockets and Cliff Dwellers Bar right around the corner, which made meals a breeze after a long day of walking, and the room itself was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed despite some of the check-in confusion at the casino. clearer signage would definitely enhance the overall experience.

Staying at The Lodge at Cliff Castle Casino was fantastic for our family with two kids under 12. Kids Quest, a fun spot just a short stroll away, kept our little ones entertained for hours with its games and activities.
My wife says that clearer signage for family activities is needed.

The staff were friendly and the location was great.
The computer system was down during check-in, causing a long wait. The room was extremely dusty and lacked basic amenities like a fitted sheet.

after 2 nights of complete misery in this room, we were advised by our shuttle driver, Vicky to contact manager, Dalia at the casino. dalia allowed us to move into a wonderful room in the casino. the lodge is part of the casino but not attached to it, so no smokey casino to worry about. the room that i had was large, clean and had a nice view. very nice for the price.
Nothing, it is perfect 😊

Spacious and clean rooms, enjoyable buffet breakfast, close to Sedona and other attractions within 10 minutes.
Felt very well looked after, nothing too much trouble.

We hit up Kids Quest and the sick pool in a 10-min walk! Chillin' with the squad was epic. The vibe was dope!
Just wish they had a sick DJ or maybe like a teen party zone, you know? More lit nighttime activities for us partygoers.
